Zenith Fitness-Pro

Our coaches

Coaches who watch every rep.

Programs are only as good as the coaching behind them. Here’s how our coaching team is organised — and what you can expect from every coach on our floor.

Coaching philosophy

A good coach makes training simpler, not more complicated. Our coaches explain why each exercise is in your plan, choose loads that challenge you without breaking you and tell you honestly when something needs to change.

Our coaching standard requires a recognised fitness or strength and conditioning qualification and current first-aid certification, and every coach completes our in-house training on assessment, program design, youth safeguarding and technique standards before coaching members. We keep learning too: coaches attend workshops, review each other’s sessions and share notes on every member’s progress.

/ The coaching team

Four coaching roles, one standard

Each member has a lead coach, but the whole team knows your plan. When your coach isn’t on shift, someone else who has read your notes is.

What every coach does, every session

Reads your plan first

Coaches check your program and notes before your session, so you never have to explain your history twice.

Cues, then corrects

Short, clear cues during the set and a quick explanation after it. Video when it helps.

Adjusts on the day

Bad sleep or a hard week? Loads and volume are adjusted so you still train productively.

Logs everything

Loads, reps and notes go into your training log so reviews are based on facts, not memory.

/ Working with a coach

How coaching works here

Yes. Every member on a Coached, Personal or Youth plan has a lead coach who writes and reviews their program. Open Floor members can book short reviews with any coach.

Of course. If you’d like to work with someone else, tell reception or any coach and we’ll arrange a handover meeting so nothing in your plan is lost.

Coached members are reviewed monthly, personal training clients weekly, and youth athletes at the end of each training block.

Coaches give practical, food-first guidance to support training. For medical diets, eating concerns or supplements, we refer you to a registered dietitian or doctor.

Personal and competition clients can message their coach between sessions. Other members can leave notes at reception or ask during their next visit.
